‘VAC-SIL’ High Elongation Silicone Rubber Sheeting

• Silicone has good reusability and durability when exposed to high pressures and elevated temperatures.
  
  
• Silicone has extraordinary “drawdown” strength and resilience when forming complex and sharp definitions.

What is a Fluoroelastomer?

Fluoroelastomers are fluorinated synthetic polymers designed for harsh environments including aggressive chemical and temperature applications. Fluoroelastomer compounds are based on polymers that take
advantage of the high strength of the fluorine to carbon bond and the high ratio of fluorine to hydrogen.
This unique chemistry and proper compounding means that some Fluoroelastomer materials can perform continuously in temperatures of 204°C and 300°C intermittently.

The ASTM D2000 designation of Fluoroelastomers is HK, meaning the highest heat resistance and the
lowest swell available of rubber types.

Fluoroelastomers are made and marketed by some of the world’s largest chemical corporations including :-

DuPont – Viton® ; Dyneon Chemicals Dyneon®;Solvay - Technoflon® & and Daikin – Dai-El®.

Metal Detectable Silicone Sponge

Quality: MDSP1043

Made from FDA listed ingredients this is a fully post cured premium grade silicone sponge material
offering ideal sealing, vibration damping, protection and cushioning for those food sensitive applications
where product contamination cannot be contemplated.

We initially intend to stock the most popular thicknesses 1.5mm, 3mm and 6mm in sheets: 1 metre x 1 metre with a view to adding to these thicknesses as this product becomes established. We can also offer extruded strips and cord sections made to order.
