Air Crews Breath more easily
J-Flex are supplying aircrews worldwide with 'neck dams' - comfortable tight seals fitted to smokehoods that prevent smoke or gas inhalation in the event of hazardous problems. The requirement was an inert material that would also not causse skin allergies so we sampled a high strength, FDA compliant, 40 Shore Hard silicne rubber precision calendered at 0.4mm thick with a fine fabric impression to aid bonding to the headgear.
Aviation standards worldwide do not take second best and we are delighted to report that after several months of intensive testing J-Flex is now the preferred supplier, producing to date some 5,000 square metres of material. |
